Desperately Seeking Stronger Hair?

True story…sometimes I just want to chop all of my hair off. Maybe go with something like a pixie cut. In my head, I think that things would be so much easier with short hair. I wouldn’t have to style it, damage it, and worry about split ends. Then, I see photos of myself with long hair and I fall back in love. And I remember that with products like Neutrogena’s Triple Repair line, I don’t have to worry about all that damage anymore.
Believe me when I say that Neutrogena totally gets it. They know that as our hair grows we’re more susceptible to damage from styling and routine coloring. It’s inevitable.
According to Neutrogena, more than 47% of women said that they blow-dry their hair on a daily basis, with 62% admitting to coloring their hair. I didn’t color my hair for a few years because I didn’t want to deal with the damage that came long with it.
For the past few weeks, I’ve had a chance to try out the NEW Neutrogena Triple Repair Shampoo and Conditioner. And I recently got my hands on the Neutrogena Triple Repair Leave-In Cream. I can honestly say I’m loving this collection.
Formulated with proteins, rich conditioners, and peptides—the Triple Repair collection is clinically proven to make hair up to three times stronger after just one use. According to Neutrogena, it mends 97% of split ends, strengthens brittle hair, and protects from breakage. And the leave-in conditioner is said to protect hair up to 400 degrees, so it will stay protected during styling.
Now, I didn’t think my hair was THAT damaged. But, I’ve noticed such a difference in my hair since I’ve started using the collection. Even after one use, my hair felt softer, nourished, and straight out healthier. Oh…and if you’re wondering, it smells great.
In the photos I’ve included in this posts, no additional hair care products were used. None. Just the shampoo and conditioner from this collection. I used a blow dryer on medium heat and paddle brush on my hair. As you can see, my hair is smooth and shiny. I didn’t need the Moroccan oil I normally use. I didn’t use it this time, but the leave-in conditioner helps me feel a lot better with my decision of coloring my hair and heading back to those heated styling tools.
