Once upon a time, someone challenged me to “just try it on” and stop worrying about what the label says. If it looks like it might fit, then we must give it a chance. That’s what I did when I ran across this Johnny Was tee at the recent OCRF Super Saturday shopping event.
There were only two racks of clothing and it seemed like every bohemian-loving woman was going through them. I came across the Harlow Sweatshirt Tee from the Johnny Was L.A. collection, in a size medium. I fell in love with it’s boxy cut, beautiful embroidery, and those colors! And because it was 75% off and I’m definitely in a boho kind of mood lately—I had to have it. Yes, Johnny Was does have a plus size selection, but their regular sizes offer boxier and flowy styles that run larger.
What I’m wearing: Johnny Was L.A. Harlow Sweatshirt Tee, Torrid Jegging Dark Rinse (gifted) , Old Navy Perforated Faux-Suede Flats, Fossil Erin Satchel (gifted), Don Roberto Jewelers 14K Gold Custom Name Plate (gifted), Michael Kors watch, and assorted jewelry.
I can already see myself wearing this bohemian tee a dozen ways. But, of course my first wear would be with one of my favorite pairs of denim and my new flats. I was going to a friend’s house for dinner and I had to honor my comfy Saturday rules. And now that I’m in a bohemian mood, I’m in search of some new pieces!
