Beauty Buzz: Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Sculpting Lipstick
If you’re looking for a pair of luscious and kissable looking lips, then the new Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Sculpting Lipstick just might be what your lips are looking for. And if they’re not, feel free to move along and miss out on some luxurious lipstick.
Available in 20 shades, the new collection of lipsticks from Estee Lauder are pretty fabulous. Saturated in color, you’ll find the texture to be lightweight, yet creamy.
“Multi-Faceted Color Pigments create shape, definition and volume. Amazing color density and dimension transforms lips for a full, curvaceous and sexy pout.” -Estee Lauder
This collection even features a new and exclusive Time Release Encapsulated Moisture Complex with Hyaluronic Acid, your lips will feel hydrated and moisturized throughout your day.
The instant I applied Vengeful Red and Dominant on my lips, I immediately noticed how moisturizing and creamy it was. And I love the subtle sweet scent. I worry about the red bleeding a little, so I might apply with a brush next time. Besides, that these two shades are perfect for spring and summer.
You know I love the little things, so I was impressed with the magnetic closure on the lipstick case itself. When you put the cap back on, it clicks the case perfectly into place. I always dread my lipstick cap will come off while it’s in my purse and ruin everything. Not with Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Sculpting Lipstick!
Tom Pecheux, Creative Makeup Director at Estee Lauder describes the collection:
“The whole collection is like revisiting a classic. The shades and formula are classic in that they have the high coverage you expect from a lipstick and include a pure red, a perfect nude etc., but the new technology gives the collection a modern twist. It is like a classic wool dress that is made in cashmere. The new texture and formula make Envy extremely luxurious and very new and modern.”
Tom even offers his own lipstick tips at the end of the post.
Tom Pecheux Tips for Creating a Fuller Lip
“Lip liner can help. But for me, a liner only works if it’s a nude or a color that matches the color of the lip. To make them fuller, you can go slightly outside the lip line.
If you have small lips, avoid a dark shade. The darker the shade the more intense your lips look but on smaller lips, it can give you a mean, severe look. Also avoid very pale lipsticks if you want a fuller looking mouth.”
Tom Pecheux Tips for the Best Way to Apply Lip Color
“There is no recipe. It depends on the result you want to create.
Bullet: best application because it’s fast, precise and gives a nice coverage. With Pure Color Envy, the bullet really helps to define and sculpt the shape of the lip.
Fingertips: create a transparent finish with no precision. More like a stain.
Brush: when you want to bring perfection, precision, high quality finish, particularly when you apply a red lipstick.”
