Raise your hand if you’re obsessed with any of the Urban Decay Naked palettes…yeah…I figured. All three are pretty awesome, but have you ventured over into their skin products and lip glosses yet? I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
I’m sitting here with my lips coated in the Naked Lipgloss and I’m not going to take it off any time soon. It’s super nourishing, not very sticky, and it’s lightweight. It’s comes in nine shades: Beso, Freestyle, Liar, Lovechild, Naked, Nooner, Streak, Rule34, and Walk of Shame. I tried them out below. They’re such great nude shades for a range of skin tones. And I’m kinda loving the paddle applicator. It makes applying easy, without giving up too much gloss.
On the Urban Decay Naked Skin side is the Beauty Balm and Ultra Definition Loose Finishing Powder. Let’s start with the powder, which has recently launched! It provides all the benefits of their pressed powder, but was designed to be virtually invisible on your skin—while giving your skin an airbrushed effect. You can use it to set your makeup or you can try it on bare skin. I tried it on over the Beauty Balm and it’s very light. It did give my skin a softened look with no shine. It has a little bit of a scent to it, but it is said to be free of oil, parabens, alcohol, and fragrances.
The hydrating and lightweight Naked Beauty Balm formula remains the same, but now they have two new shades. Which means you can now get it in Naked Light, Naked Medium, or Naked Dark. It’s designed to provide anti-aging benefits in just eight weeks, which I can not confirm. I did not try it over that amount of time. Sorry. But, they held a clinical study which claims lifted, radiant, and more hydrated skin. Only time will tell on this end.
You should know, this is not a full coverage foundation, it is more like a tinted moisturizer. But with a lot better coverage than one of those. I will use this for the next week and update you on any changes. Needless to say, I think these three products have become part of my beauty arsenal.
