By the looks of things on the Weather Channel, I know more than half of you are ready for spring. How many of you are fed up with this snow? Well, I’m here to help you get in the mood for spring! That means showing you a few season favorites from Clinique. You’re welcome.
Oh Clinique…you just know how to get us ready for spring. I was sent the 16 Shades of Beige Collection and Calyx Fragrance to review, and I immediately heard the sound of birds chirping, while flowers bloomed in my mind. OK, it wasn’t that dramatic…but you get what I’m saying!
Get ready for a “Naturally Pretty Way to Wear Naturals,” according to Clinique. I kind of have to agree with them. It’s such a great range of nude shades to play with this spring. They’ve given us the All About Shadow Neutral Territory 2 palette ($36), filled with eight soft to smoldering shadows. These are great for any occasion and your beauty looks are endless. Then there’s their A Different Nail Enamel for Sensitive Skins ($12.50 each), also in eight shades: Room Service, Peek a Boo I See You, Birthday Suit, Pajama Party, Tickle Me, Do Not Disturb, Chocolate on my Pillow, and Nighty-Night. Great for all skin tones.
Don’t you just love when a fragrance makes a comeback? Introduced in 1986, Calyx ($52-69) is back! This unique scent is a cult-classic favorite. “Created for the woman who seeks a signature scent that boldly sets her apart.” It’s an energizing mood lifting fragrance, with citrus, floral, and lush notes. I will admit it has a unique and almost dramatic scent, but I think that’s what makes it a standout. If this is your kind of fragrance, make sure you stop by a Clinique beauty counter and try it out.
