I can’t believe I almost forgot the importance of today’s date. Just like everything else, it took a Facebook status to remind me how special it is. Thank you Chief! Many years ago, I made the decision to change my life forever and join the United States Air Force. Believe me, it was shocking for a lot of people. I had never once expressed interest in joining the military. Never!
Did you ever wish there was a fashion brand out there designed with you in mind? Someone who cared about dressing your curves? This is not make-believe ladies. That someone is already here and it’s Sealed With A Kiss Designs (SWAK). OK…not too sound too much like a commercial, but they really do design and create with our different shapes in mind. And what happens when they collaborate with one of the hottest ‘Curvy Girls’ on the planet? Fuerza by Rosie Mercado of course!
It’s time for another one of my 10 Favorites posts. And this time it’s kind of a “fall must-have” kind of list from Torrid. There picks would be perfect for a range of looks. In an attempt to not lose my sanity while I’m home sick, I’ve decided to write a new Beauty Buzz! I’m kind of coughing my lungs up, but I just have to share. This short and sweet post will be all about a few of my latest beauty favorites. These products were sent to me to review and were new to me. I hope you find one you like!
Have I ever told you how much I love thrifting? I really do! I grew up shopping thrift stores. My mom even worked at one. She used to bring home the greatest stuff. I guess you can say it’s in my blood. It’s just unfortunate that most stores make finding plus sizes really hard. I had almost given up hope, until I visited Savers Thrift Store in Austin, Texas!
It’s no secret that I adore fashion stylist & plus fashion expert Reah Norman! Not only is she my good friend, but she’s also very talented! I think she’s one of the best in the business. I’ve know her for years and no one can match her hard work and dedication. If you want to learn more about her, read the 5 Questions post where I featured Reah.
What’s your passion in life? Is it something that you actually get to do every day? Or do you only dream about it at this point? The truth is, only a small percentage of us actually follow our passion. Why is that? Have you ever asked yourself why it’s so hard for us to take action and go after what we love?
