It’s no secret that I’m not really a Jr. Plus kind of customer. To be honest with you, I don’t even shop junior sizes because the fit is always too small or the styles are just too young. But, when Wet Seal contacted me to try out a few of their pieces I was really curious to check out their plus line.
I do remember shopping Wet Seal when I was younger. I loved shopping there! Not much has changed, their clothes are still on trend and pretty inexpensive. I will admit I won’t wear everything in the Jr. Plus section of their site, but there is a lot I will wear. And so you know, a handful of stores do carry the Jr. Plus line. You can find them here.
Both tops below are a size 2X. As you know, I’m normally a size 16/18. These two tops have a lot of stretch in them—quality is pretty decent too. The tank top is a little clingy, but fits perfectly and because of the longer length it’s perfect for a casual legging look. And I loooooove the message of the tank.
The sweater plays with the skull trend going on right now. I probably could’ve ordered it in a 1X. It’s a little big. I really did like both of them though, despite my size choices. I guess I’m also in a rhinestones mood right now too. I’m eyeing a few more pieces, hopefully they’ll make their way to an Los Angeles area soon!
Have you tried Wet Seal’s Jr. Plus section size? Will you?
