My Favorite Spring Sweater (OOTD)

When I tell you I have wise friends, I really do! Take my beautiful friend Ivory. She taught me to not be afraid to shop in the straight size section. Just because it says a size on the tag, doesn’t mean anything. I’m glad I listened to her. That’s how I found what has become my favorite spring sweater.

I’m so in love with my Willow & Clay crochet sweater in teal I found at Marshalls. You can find the same one here, for a lot more than what I paid for and in different colors. I’m just saying…

This is the outfit I wore in Miami when I was on a panel about Latina fashion bloggers. I didn’t know what to wear that day. It can be so intimidating sometimes, especially when you’re sitting in front of people who love fashion. I knew I had to try something a little different. When I spotted this sweater I immediately knew it was something special. Isn’t it crazy how clothes can talk to you like that? LOL…anyways…

What I’m wearing: Willow & Clay Crochet Women’s Sweater, Torrid Denim The Luxe Black Skinny Jean, Report peep toe flats (Ross), Juicy Couture necklace, and Torrid ring and bracelets.

This top is a size medium and is a great oversized fit (I’m a size 16). I just want to wear it every day. Oh and I always get complimented on it too, by random strangers. Now you know why it’s become my favorite. My only pet peeve…if I was going to have one, is the fact that it kind of gets caught on things. But, I just make sure I’m extra careful when I wear it.

That is a beautiful sweater! I can crochet – I wonder exactly how it was made? ;)
