Wow…what an amazing weekend! After a totally rad 80′s birthday party on Saturday, I dragged my butt out of bed for what Los Angeles has been missing…a plus size fashion show during L.A. Fashion Week. A big THANK YOU to POSH for giving us what we need here in the City of Angels!

I didn’t get to experience the entire day of events scheduled, but I did make it to the runway show. My camera was being very stubborn from the front row! But, I did manage to take some photos of the looks that hit the runway. I looooooved the show! It’s always so refreshing to attend a runway show and see a diverse range of models in fashion for just about anyone. One of my favorites would have to be Shanda Freeman’s collection “Shanda Style.” It was very sexy and confident. And very much Shanda!

What was only supposed to be seating for 75 turned up over 200 requests for seats! Great job POSH!! And there were plenty of fashionistas in the audience. I can’t wait until the fall for the next POSH fashion show. Take a look at my pics below with a quick pic of my outfit at the end.

For my personal outfit, I had an idea in my head of how I was going to wear this outfit. Yeahhhhh…it didn’t turn out that way. But, that’s OK. I still loved the look. Now, my hair…that’s a different story. The top is ALYX from JCPenney ( I know!) and it’s my first neon piece of the season. My denim is Torrid and shoes are Jeffrey Campbell.
