Beauty Buzz: Mary Kay “Beauty That Counts”

I love when a beauty company knows the effect that other women can have on each other’s lives. And that’s exactly what Mary Kay is doing with their “Beauty That Counts” campaign.

In honor of the company’s 50th anniversary, they’re releasing a special edition “Beauty That Counts” Mary Kay Compact Mini, $16 (unfilled). Designed with a golden Swarovski crystal nestled in a wave of ripples, the compact signifies the moment you touch someone’s life and you create a ripple effect that carries far beyond that one act.

Until May 15, 2013, $1 from each sale of this special edition compact will be donated to Love Is Respect. Mary Kay is the lead sponsor of this “textforhelp” program that is designed to educate and assist young people seeking healthy relationships. For help, text “loveis” to 77054.

Below you’ll also see a few inexpensive makeup brushes from Mary Kay. I will admit, I haven’t tried these yet. Just wanted to give you a look!
