Beauty Buzz: COVERGIRL Outlast Stay Fabulous 3-in-1 Foundation
Remember the days when you dreamt of a foundation that pretty much did it all? I think I discovered it ladies! Yup! And it’s none other than COVERGIRL Outlast Stay Fabulous 3-in-1 Foundation. The NEW long-lasting formula is primer, concealer, and foundation in one!
I discovered this fabulous foundation a few weeks ago when a makeup artist used it on me for a shoot. The next day I went to an event where one of my favorite makeup artist Luis Casco was on hand. He gave us the inside scoop and helped us find our shade. Then we got to give ourselves a mini-makeover!
The first thing I want to say is that I’ve tried a lot of foundations, but this has got to be one of the best I’ve used. Yes, I do have an oily T-zone with normal to oily skin. And before I apply foundation, I make sure to apply moisturizer. So that’s kind of a double strike. Normally, my skin is oily after an hour. But, not with COVERGIRL Outlast Stay Fabulous 3-in-1 Foundation ($9.49 at Target). There was need to set it with a powder either.
This past weekend I went to Universal Studios Hollywood theme park and spent the entire day walking from ride to ride. Not once did I have to apply powder. My skin never felt oily. This is by no means a matte foundation. It leaves a natural and healthy look. Make sure you find your perfect shade. I’m using #855 Soft Honey. I’ve heard it does dry a little darker, so be careful with that.
Check out a few pics from the event below!
This foundation is available in 14 shades and it will be my “go-to” foundation. It is also available in 14 shades from the COVERGIRL Queen Collection All Day Flawless Foundation. I love that it’s offered for a total of 28 different skin tones. Yay! It does offer an SPF of 20 and the pump is a big plus too. Since we all have different skin types, I suggest checking out YouTube for reviews to see how it worked on others.
Normally, I apply with my fingers, but I want to invest in a great foundation brush. Any recommendations?
