Yes my loves! We are still in the middle of winter. Spring is still weeks away and I have a question for you. How has your skin been holding up? Are you like me? My skin tends to get really dry and itchy during the cold months. After I shower I have to immediately throw on lotion. Well, that was the case until I started using Dove’s new body wash.
There will be a time in our lives when we need “the” dress. I’m not talking about a wedding dress either. I’m talking about a special occasion dress or evening gown that is classy, chic, and constructed beautifully. I think designer Tadashi Shoji was born so he could create these designs for us and bring them into our fashion lives. Just sayin’!
I live in Los Angeles, the land of curves, but apparently lack of curvy love. Months ago, I (accidentally) discovered that the Forever 21 located in the Beverly Center carried plus sizes. I was surprised, I mean it is Beverly Hills. And I think the only other store in that mall that carries plus sizes is Macy’s and possibly Ann Taylor (they go up to an 18).
If you follow me on Twitter or Instagram then you’ve probably noticed that I’ve done a bit of traveling over the past few weeks. And all I can think about is what I could use to make my trips a little bit easier and a lot more comfortable! That’s why I’ve compiled a little travel (kind of luxury) wish list…
When my friend Yolanda of Sassy Mama in L.A. invited me to get a free manicure I didn’t hesitate to reply YES! Then I found out it would be courtesy of CVS and NUANCE Salma Hayek. I was really in! Did you even know that the gorgeous actress Salma Hayek had a beauty line at CVS? She sure does and you’ll find cosmetics, skin care, hair care, and body products.
Finding chic plus size belts can be a little difficult sometimes. I love how the right belt can do so much for an outfit. I appreciate how it helps define my high waist, among other things. It’s an accessory that can tie a whole look together. I admit I don’t wear them as much as I should. I realized that today, when I found these ten belts (below) that I really want…right now.
I can’t believe I haven’t posted these pics yet! These Corso Como shoes are from that preview I attended in early December. They’re stylish and comfy. I admit I’ve never worn a pair before I attended this event. But, up until them I had heard nothing but great things about this brand.
As a certified IGIGI by Yuliya Raquel fan I appreciate the classic look and fit of her pieces. I just happen to have the lookbook to her lastest collection, “Cinema Retro”. And it definitely embraces that. It transitions into spring with her signature silhouettes, retro prints, and great colors.
I’m bummed…because of my traveling I haven’t had a chance to see the Golden Globes. But, I have been keeping up with the red carpet photos. And I know the hottest celebs looked stunning thanks to a lot of some of my favorite beauty brands. Just like Sofia Vergara with Covergirl, Nicole Richie with Suave Professionals, and Jennifer Lopez with L’Oreal Paris did.
