New Year’s Eve Inspiration: 3 Outfits

New Year’s Eve is almost here! I know we barely made it through Christmas, but now it’s time to ring in 2013! Have you even thought about what you’re going to wear? To figure that out, you have to determine what kind of event you’re going to be at? Will it be a casual, cocktail, or a black tie event?

I had a whole outfit in my head, but now I’m thinking about changing it. I’ll be in chillier temps, so I’m not going all out in a gown or anything. I think I’m going with a cocktail type of outfit…maybe. I don’t know! Geez…I’ll probably figure it out an hour before I leave my hotel! LOL!

Depending on the night you’re having and event you’re attending here are a few ideas.

If you’re going to a casual event like a house party with a laid-back atmosphere, try something comfy but has a little edge, shine, or sparkle to it. The look below is from Forever 21 and is something I’d wear. The pants are the focal point of this outfit. They’re fun, without being too dressy. The jewelry and accessories are pretty simple, but I’d love to pair some burgundy heels to add some color.

Helllllloooooo cocktail outfit! This is probably my favorite look! Finding a cocktail dress is pretty easy. If I was going to wear one on New Year’s Eve it would be this beautiful one from the ASOS Curve line. I love that it has sleeves and a high neckline, but is still amazingly sexy! Once again the jewelry is simple, because the dress is so ornate. And I would add this pop of cobalt blue with the clutch.

As I put this outfit together, I realized that I’ve never been to a black tie New Year’s Eve event! Booooooo! Oh well…if I was invited to one, I’d go all out with the gown. This look is entirely from Bloomingdales and I can’t stop drooling over this dress! Go daring with red! And because the dress doesn’t have any embellishment, I chose a blinged out pair of earrings and necklace. The shoes and clutch would be gold of course!
