I’m Wearing…IGIGI’s Maxine Dress

Elegance and comfort are hard to come by nowadays, especially when it involves fashion. So, when you’re able to put the two together in a design you run with it…seriously. This is definitely something IGIGI by Yuliya Raquel has discovered and made their own.

This past weekend I was invited to my friend’s 65th birthday party and I knew I had to wear IGIGI’s Maxine dress! I immediately fell in love with the mustard gold material. It has this luxurious shimmer and I got tons of compliments at the party. My second favorite part of the dress is the draped cowl neck. It sits in the perfect spot.

As beautiful as the dress is, there were a few alterations I need to make. I think it’s just a little too long for my liking. I’m 5’6 and the length is past my knees, when I’d like it right at the top of my knees. Also, as you’ll read in the online reviews, the waist is a little big. I had to pin it from the inside. These are a few things that are easy to fix and won’t take away from the style of the dress.

The dress is made from jersey and runs a little big. I’d recommend going down a size if you’re concerned. But, make sure you check out their size chart first.

I do plan on wearing this dress again this holiday season. It’s going to be perfect! But, I’m going to have accessorize it differently. What would you suggest?

How would you accessorize IGIGI’s Maxine dress?

This is a very nice dress. You look wonderful in it as well. For the Christmas holiday I would pair it with white pearls. If there were suttle gold accents in the pearls even better. Since you have such nice hair I would pin it up as well. Happy Holidays…

Thanks Shron! Pearls sound nice and I can’t wait for my hair to get longer so I can wear it up :)
