A Metallic Kind of Night

Whenever I get an invite to a blogger related event, I’m always in a scramble about what to wear. The evening event was on a rooftop and I wanted to be L.A. comfy casual chic. Is that really a thing? LOL! Whatever…I wanted to look cute! I decided to go with a top that Evans sent me. 

The Swan By Clements Ribeiro Metallic Kimmy Blouse was the perfect top. It has a very bohemian vibe, but the metallic shimmer dresses it up. I think I might even wear this with a bright pair of skinnies or pencil skirt like they styled it on the Evans web site. I really loved the little touches like the lace panels on the sleeve. Ohhhh…this would make a great holiday top too!

And of course I wore my Torrid Ankle Zip Stiletto Jean, Guess Mipolia Suede Pumps , Torrid Hematite Rhinestone And Pearl Bangles, Lane Bryant Earrings (old), Aldo ring (old) and my clutch is by Urban Expressions.

    I seriously need to get me a pair of those Torrid jeans… I have been procrastinating and I don’t know why….

    Is there a good amount of stretch in them?

      Yes, these definitely have a good stretch and they’re pretty true to size.

    Can you talk a bit about the quality of that top? Looking at the 3rd picture, I am wondering if the lace is firmly attached and if it seems like it will frey.

      Hi Rebecca! Definitely!! The top is amazing quality. The fraying is just a detail. It doesn’t look like it will fray. The lace is firmly attached and not sure if you can tell but the sleeve is sheer. The overall material of the top is soft and could snag, which happened. My bracelet got caught on it a couple of times. But, on that note, it’s really hard to tell. Hope this helped! Let me know if you have any other questions.
