I’ve been doing a lot of traveling lately…like a lot. In fact, I’m planning to go out of town this week. September has been a busy one, and October doesn’t look to be any different. In fact, I’ll be traveling to Houston next month for the Latinos in Social Media National Conference(LATISM 2012)! I can’t wait!
Unless you were born with full lashes and brows, you might not really care about this week’s Beauty Buzz. But, chances are you’re one of the many women with sparse eyelashes and eyebrows. For years I thought I had thick eyebrows, but now as I’m getting older (and wiser), I notice how thin they’re getting.
I don’t care that it’s hotter than *&%$#@^! outside, I can’t stop thinking about the upcoming holiday season! That means lots of parties and events. It’s time to start thinking about dresses! Instead of the basic LBD, why not try a LBLD? A Little Black Lace Dress. I just invented that by-the-way.
Ohhhhh Fashion’s Night Out…you were an interesting one. The Beverly Center (right around the corner from my house) was the scene and the FNO events were on everyone’s mind. Of course, I was late…but I made it just in time for the fashion show. The mall was packed and I realized I forgot my camera after I entered the parking structure. All of my pics are courtesy of the trusty old Blackberry.
Are you one of the many who can’t decide if you’re going to head out tonight for Fashion’s Night Out (FNO)? There’s so much going on like the start of NYC Fashion Week, the President’s speech at the DNC, and MTV Video Awards (to name a few). Or maybe you just don’t want to deal with the crowds. If you fit in any of the above categories, I have the solution for your FNO problems!
Imagine a world with no make-up or skin care products. Would you even care what your skin looked like on a bare face? Did I just freak you out? To some of us, just the thought of going make-up free can be scary. Blemishes, discoloration, and dark spots can really stop us from celebrating our natural beauty.
I’m a sucker for fall. You should all know that by now. Bring me the dark, rich, and warm tones of my favorite colors. Those would also be known as the “jewel” tones. I’m already dreaming of colder weather and the opportunity to wear sweaters and coats. This summer has been way too hot for me!
Imagine walking outside and feeling like you just walked into an oven. Yeah, that was pretty much my weekend in San Antonio. O.K…I may be exaggerating a tiny bit. Let’s just say it was hot and I didn’t want to fuss with my outfits. And that’s why I kept my look casual, but wanted to add some much needed color in my life.
When I started blogging, I had no idea where it would take me. I didn’t know who I’d meet, what I’d get to experience, or who’d actually read what I wrote. Today, I write from my heart, what I love, and what I’m experiencing in life. Although I blog for many reasons, it’s always nice to know people appreciate you.
Hello my loves! I wanted to start a new feature here on Curves and Chaos…cause I’m all about sharing! This new feature is called “Men We Love” and it’s exactly what the name say’s. I’ll do a quick profile on guys that are stylish, smart, hard workers, and eye-catching of course! The first profile is a friend of mine and the hardest working guy in Los Angeles. You may have seen him featured in a recent issue of Plus Model Magazine. His name is Chuey Martinez and he’s pretty awesome. Enjoy!
