Style Trend: Houndstooth

The houndstooth print isn’t for everyone. In fact, half of you probably love it and the other half…not so much. But, that’s OK! Just because it’s a trend doesn’t mean you have to like it. I like my prints in small doses, that’s just me. And I can imagine wearing this print, also known as dogstooth, in an office or business casual setting.

It definitely has a retro vibe to it and I think that’s why I like it so much. And there seems to be a lot of it out there. I found tops, dresses, shoes, skirts, hats, nylons, and bags in houndstooth.

I’m curious to know what you think of it and where you’d wear it.

    Houndstooth used to remind me of the early nineties and work clothes that my mom would wear, it is nice to see it come back in a chic way. I would incorporate this style into my look with pops of it in my handbag or shoes. I like it in a pencil skirt as well.

    I went to purchase the Cape from LB, because I loved it the moment I saw it, however all of the one’s that arrived in stores are being sent back because of a defect. They young lady in the store showed me the problem they all had. I did however purchased the Houndstooth Wrap Dress…It fits the body amazingly!!

        Yeah, I was really disappointed!! I would have never known it had a defect unless someone showed me, because by looking at them, they look fine.
