Shoe Insider: Naya ‘Palomi’ Sandal

Raise your hand if you’ve ever experienced the joy of finding a gladiator sandal that you knew you couldn’t live without? *Raises hand* Ever since my black gladiator sandals died (the heel broke off), I’ve been on the hunt. Not only do I want cute, by I want comfy. You know that’s my favorite phrase. That’s when shoe company Naya walked into my life and just in the nick of time. I was seriously ready to give up. Enter the Palomi Sandal ($129.95), in all its glory. I love the herringbone braid feature that runs down the front of the sandal.…

Sneak Peek: Lane Bryant’s May Magalog

If you’ve been on the Lane Bryant web site recently, you might have seen some of the beautiful photography. The colors have been so vibrant!  And just look at that back drop! Imagine being on that photoshoot! I saw it and emailed them right away and wanted to know if I could get some images from that shoot. They did better than that, they sent me some images from their May magalog. It’s a sneak peek!  And I’m so in love. Not only with the photography, but some of their new pieces. I see a few things that I just might…

“The Lucky One” Giveaway with e.l.f. Cosmetics!

I love…love. Yes, I’m a hopeless romantic and I can’t wait to see the new film The Lucky One starring Taylor Schilling and Zac Efron (hubba hubba).

Ahem…anyways…The Lucky One is about a U.S. Marine Sergeant Logan Thibault (Efron) who returns from his third tour of duty in Iraq, with the one thing he credits with keeping him alive—a photograph he found of a woman he doesn’t even know. Learning her name is Beth (Schilling) and where she lives, he shows up at her door, and ends up taking a job at her family-run local kennel. Despite her initial mistrust and the complications in her life, a romance develops between them, giving Logan hope that Beth could be much more than his good luck charm.

Doesn’t it sound so beautiful!! I told you I’m a romantic! I already know I’m going to cry. LOL!

In celebration of the release of The Lucky One, I’m giving away a ($50) gift card for e.l.f. cosmetics, courtesy of The Lucky One. We all know and love e.l.f. cosmetics-professional makeup starting at just $1. Imagine what $50 would get you!! They even have a The Lucky One Sweepstakes going on right now. Enter here. But, in the meantime enter to win via the widget below.

OOTD: Feisty in Leopard

As you can tell I’m in an animal print kind of mood, makes me feel a little feisty! Saturday night we were invited out for a birthday dinner in Downtown L.A. and I couldn’t throw this dress on fast enough. The Natural Leopard Surplice Chalice dress (courtesy of Torrid) was a perfect pick for our night out. It’s a great alternative for the normal jeans and top combo. It fit me really well, but as you can tell I did have to put a tank underneath so I didn’t show all the goods. I don’t think the hubby would of…

Style Trend: Bright Blazers

You know it’s all about bright colors this spring! And now blazers are definitely getting in on the action. I know we always complain that we can’t find blazers in our sizes, but I think I might have you covered. I found a few below that are not only in amazingly bold colors, but they come in a range of plus sizes and prices. And they aren’t that traditional blazer style either. Check out the cropped style from Jessica London or this beautiful wrapped style from Ashley Stewart. Throw it over a spring dress or with a pair of your…

OOTD: Pink Leopard

I’m really not trying to brag…OK maybe just a little, but the weather here in Los Angeles was amazing this weekend! Saturday morning, I had some errands to run, but I didn’t want to just throw on anything. I wanted to wear something fun but comfy. I decided on this Pink Leopard Callie Off-Shoulder Tee by Twist Tees and these Light Blue Rolled Cuff Straight Jeans, both courtesy of Torrid. I love this top! When I saw it, I knew I had to try it. It really is a twist on the popular leopard print. And I felt a little…
