Shoe Fever: Neon

Now, here are some shoes I wish I had the guts to wear. I was at the mall the other day and I fell head over heels for a pair of neon pink wedges from Aldo. They were gorgeous. Of course I know I can wear them, but I’m taking baby steps out of my comfort zone and this would require a huge jump for me. I’m silly like that. But, I think I can wear those with the touches of neon.

Neon colors definitely remind me of the 80′s and are the boldest of the bold. I’ve always wondered what to pair neon shoes with. Of course the basic all black outfit is a safe option, but why not do a little mixing to bring a pop of color to your look. In today’s color blocking and print mixing world…almost anything goes.

    I would totally rock a LBD or a white and black combo. Or I would wear a print that carries one of those colors like a paint splash print or something… Those lime green ones are AWESOME.

    I don’t think I could wear these. They are just too, too… I dunno. They are gorgeous, of course but I could never see myself wearing them. :/

    I think 1, 3, and 5 are the most doable for me and I agree with you, adding a pop of color would definitely make things more interesting!

    OMAGAAAA I love #1 and #9. I won’t wear the pops of color on my clothes but I would on my shoes and my nails. I would do a bit more neutral toned outfit and have the shoe be the focal point. I’m on a time out from shoes…hubby said no mas after I got two pairs for Christmas, and two or three in the last few weeks. This is like shoe porn for me lol.
