OOTD: Ringing it in Blue + Giveaway

Happy New Year my loves!

How has 2012 been treating you so far? I hope great! And I hope you had a safe and happy New Year’s Eve. The hubby and I rang in the new year with our family. We went over to my mother-in-law’s house and ate, watched the ball drop in New York City, and ate our 12 grapes (for good luck). My friend even came over to hang out, which was awesome!

I knew it was going to be a comfy night, so I decided to wear this sweater dress my mom bought me a couple of Christmases ago, leggings, Lane Bryant jewelry and my new favorite Steve Madden platforms. I swear you’re going to see these shoes a lot!

I know 2012 is going to be “the” year! Here’s to you and yours on the first day of the year! And to start it off right, I have a spontaneous giveaway for you. I just thought of this while I was writing this post. I’m going to make this really easy too!

    You look beautiful—love the blue! I also had a casual NYE at home with family. I wore a white blouse and my @eloquii red, skinny jeans. I added some sparkle with my jewelry! The biggest thing that I plan to accomplish in 2012 is getting my new blog up and running–it’s under construction right now:). Happy 2012!

    I wore a black & gold strapless dress with a black jacket, stockings, and black high heel wedges (wedges weren’t as fashionable as heels, but much kinder to my feet!) As for 2012; keep building my photography business, and my social media skills.

    I hope to live a healthier lifestyle this year. We also seem to be so strapped for time, and junk food and lack of exercise seems to go hand in hand with lack of time. I need to make more time to exercise, and cook healthy meals! Not because I am unhappy with my body, I love myself, and my husband loves me just the way I am, but I need to be able to be more active for my 2yr olds sake! I can barely keep up! And… For new years eve I wore a purple and embellished neckline shirt with dark blue jeans, and silver heels. Love the shirt, I actually bought it at Lane Bryant!

    I wore my dark blue skinny jeans, a black v-neck sweater and my black military jacket that is sooo cute! What I plan on accomplishing this year is happiness. Sounds stupid to some but, I have been dragged through hell in 11 and I plan to make 12 so much more better.

I am finally beginning to dress fashionable for the size I AM rather than waiting “till I lose weight.” I hope in the new year to embrace who I am just as I am more, yet still pursue health and strength, to have a body that does what I want it to when I want it to.

    I wore my pjs since I didn’t go out on New Years Eve, I’ve been unemployed for a long time and on a tight budget. This year I’m praying a job will happen real soon, but until then I am continuing to work hard at getting my photography business successful. I’m dreaming of a day when I don’t have to rely on working for someone else and can make a living by making people happy one photograph at a time.

    I wore my favorite pair of Dark denim strech DKNY Jeans By Lane Bryant and I pair it with a blank sequence Tank (Lane Bryant) and a Black Sweater Cardigan (Avenue) and my black Flats by Lane Bryant. This year I hope to accomplish losing some weight. I really wanna be able to stay healthy and stay away from greasy foods.     I wore a zebra print top, jeans and black heels. Not too dressy for a semi casual night. For 2012, I want to be get healthy. I was diagnosed with a heart condition and I need to work on vanishing this problem. :)

    My husband had to work at a his bar so I went because the entire night they had 80′s music playing on one floor and dance on the other.
    Ok so I wore probably the cheapest ensemble ever. All old navy and payless. $15 grey cardigan, $8 long purple tank, $4 black leggings, $12 grey flats, $6 necklace and a free gold purse handed down to me from a friend…oh and of cpurse…SPANX ;-)
    What I want out of 2012 is to accept my size, my weight, my age, myself. I’m wasting and have wasted so much time being hard on myself and being my worst enemy. It’s such an uneccesary stress in my life.

    My New Year’s Eve was rather casual as I stayed home. I work gray yoga pants and my favorite Lane Bryant white cable sweater. For 2012 I hope to accomplish saving money to move to NYC or SF. We shall see which city I pick.

    I think I wore a sweatshirt and some jeans. We had my sister and her family over for chili. It was really nice, the kids played and we hung out.
    For 2012, I hope to accomplish putting more effort into me. I’ve gotten in this slump of no make-up and a pony tail.
