I had an opportunity to hang out with some of my girls this weekend. After a long day, I didn’t want to wear anything too complicated, but I didn’t want to wear sweats out either. I decided to go with this beautiful Blue Crepe Lattice Cold-Shoulder from Torrid. I even threw my hair up in a high bun.

I love the top, but after looking at these images, I feel like I should’ve chosen a smaller size. It’s supposed to have a flowy fit, but I think it’s a little too much for my shape. Now, this is something I’ve only recently noticed. I tend to buy clothes that are a little too big for me. I don’t know if it’s a mental thing, maybe my perception of myself is skewed. I’m in-between sizes, so if I go down a size it might be a little tighter, but if I go up a size it’s a little big. I always end up going bigger. That needs to change.

Regardless, it’s extremely comfy and the color pops. Loving this blue right now and the shoulders are so sexy! If you also notice, I should have paired this with more form fitting denim. It’s crazy because it looked fine in the mirror, but the images are bugging me. LOL!

Whatever…there’s nothing like a well-deserved lesson in fashion. Earrings are from Target, bracelets are from Lane Bryant, shoes are Steve Madden, and denim is from Torrid.
