Inspired by Bill Cunningham New York, A Documentary

”Fashion is the armor to survive the reality of everyday life. I don’t think you could do away with it. It would be like doing away with civilization.” -Bill Cunningham
If there’s one thing I’m passionate about it’s living life and doing what you love. Today, I watched a documentary based on New York Times fashion photographer Bill Cunningham and I witnessed a passion unlike any other. And it’s not even just for fashion. His love of life and doing what you love is inspiring.
Bill Cunningham New York, follows and chronicles the life of one of the most validated and beloved fashion/street style photographers of our time. Today’s ‘wanna be” street style photographers don’t compare to Bill. I don’t think you even need to love fashion to appreciate the message of this film and his philosophy on fashion.
Have you seen Bill Cunningham New York yet? What did you think?
