Fruit of the Loom’s Fit for Me on TV

I don’t know why it has taken me this long to see these Fit for Me commercials! I want to send a big kudos to Fruit of Loom and their recent commercials and ads. They feature women with curves! I’ve written about Fruit of the Loom’s Fit for Me collection before, but had never seen these. As you know, I’m a big fan of self-acceptance  and self-confidence.  And we know how much the media plays a role in what young women consider beautiful. Hopefully, other brands will follow and show everyone that beautiful comes in all sizes. So, what do you think? Do…

The Collar Necklace

I’m always looking for the next trend, this time I found one I really like! The neck enhancing collar necklace. And it’s exactly what it is, a necklace that is supposed to rest on your collar bone. I love all of these too, like always. Most of them are from Topshop…looks like I’m going shopping soon. Ooooohhh…I bet you can find a lot of these at vintage or thrift stores. My neck needs one…or two. Do you love the collar necklace?

I’m Loving…ASOS Curve Pants

I need to go shopping. Like, right now. I have this urge to go shopping so bad, but without $$$ all I can do is window shop on the internet. I’ve been eyeing ASOS Curve pants for a while now, especially the cropped pants. Why do they always have to have such great stuff when I’m broke? Grrrr…guess I’ll just look.

Style Trend: Bold Knits & Stripes

With only a few weeks of summer left, I’m already craving sweaters. Fall is calling me and so are these knits with their bold stripes. Sorry summer lovers, but it’s going to cold soon and I can’t wait to bundle up. Weather it’s a cardigan, poncho, or cropped sweater-bold stripes are looking really chic for the fall. They can be paired with a wide leg or skinny jean and a great pair of boots or flats. Ohhhhh a chunky necklace too! Sorry, fashion makes me excited. LOL. Awwww….hurry up and get cold already! Are bold stripes in your fashion future?…

I’m a fat fashion blogger

Last month, I read about a super crazy amazing fashion blogger opportunity (which will remain anonymous). The moment I saw it-I knew I had to be there. I felt like it was actually designed for me and my plans for this blog. So, I applied and haven’t heard anything in about a month. Today, I emailed for an update and turns out they are sold out. I’m not going to lie, my heart kind of sank. To be clear, the people from that “opportunity” did reply back to my questions of their selection process and being the skeptical blogger I…

Speak Now tour with COVERGIRL Taylor Swift

Cid (CidStyleFile.com) and I attended the Taylor Swift concert last night courtesy of COVERGIRL. I wasn’t a fan…until I met Tayler and saw her perform. She’s an amazingly sweet and talented person. And she even said I was pretty! So, now I really LOVER her. LOL. And yes, I was wearing COVERGIRL last night. I was wearing their Natureluxe Silk foundation, Liquiline Blast eyeliner in Silver Spark (I always get complimented on this color), Queen Collection lip color in Nude Attitude, and the LashPerfection mascara. We had such an amazing time! Thanks COVERGIRL!! Take a look at my slide show…

Shoe Fever: Sam Edelman

A beautiful pair of shoes is not that hard to come by now-a-days. In fact, I was just browsing the web and came across a pair of booties from Sam Edelman. I am in lust with all of his beautiful shoes. And of course you will be too. That’s where the Shoe Fever kicks in. Enjoy shoe lovers… Which pair is your favorite?

Win! Playtex 18 Hour Bra Review & Giveaway

I’ve said it many times before on this blog, but I’m always looking for a comfortable wireless bra. I get so irritated when a wire starts poking me! And because I am larger in the chest, finding a wireless bra that will actually support me and offer full coverage can be difficult. That’s why I literally jumped at the chance to review Playtex’s 18 Hour bra. They sent me the Ultimate Lift and Support bra and their Seamless Smoothing bra. I know us large chested women are skeptical when it comes to support. That’s what you have me for. Here’s how…

OOTD: Romper in B&W

Oh Las Vegas…I love you. Except when you’re hitting 107 degrees! I guess that’s what I get for visiting in the middle of August. Ugh! It was so flippin’ hot. But, that’s OK. I was there this past weekend to celebrate my mom’s birthday. She hasn’t been there in a really long time, so I decided to kidnap her and my brother. We took the four hour road trip from Los Angeles and made our way to “Sin City.” Did I mention it was hot? Because of this heat, I knew  had to wear Torrid’s Smocked Black and White Polka…

Rachel Zoe? Yes or No?

Stylist Rachel Zoe not only dresses the hottest celebrities out there, but she also has her own collection. I’ve see her designs before, but I came across a few of her accessories yesterday and thought…”hmmm those are pretty cute.” Nothing to holler about, but great basics. Then I looked at the price points for her shoes and handbags. They start at $295 and up. Now, I don’t know about you, but I think her pieces are a little overpriced. I love her unique personality, but that’s not really reflected in her collection. Unless, she was purposely trying to mimic all…
