What to Wear: The Corporate Interview
Many of you have come to me asking what to wear to a job interview. I will say, it really depends on the job. For a corporate position, you might not want to mess around. You should dress as professional as possible- without losing your personal style. Unfortunately, many businesses do rely on their employees appearance. That means they might want you to look “put together” for their clients. Here’s a little something I whipped up.
If I was interviewing for a corporate position, this is something I would wear. All of the basics are here, but with my personal style in mind. Of course you have the basic sheath dress and black blazer. Try adding something like a floral pin to add a sweet touch, while staying minimal with the jewelery. Personally, I always want to stay basic with black pumps and a briefcase style bag. And you know I need a pretty pink case for my iPad.
Job interviews can be nerve racking, but at least you won’t have to worry about what you’re wearing. Remember, never lose your personal style and wear what makes you…you!
