My Closet: Lovedrobe’s Crochet Neck Dress
I was looking over some old outfit posts and I couldn’t help but notice how my style has evolved. I don’t follow any “rules” and I dress regardless of what people think. It’s how I feel in a garment that dictates my mood. For example, this Lovedrobe Crochet Neck Dress (£38.00) made me feel very flirty. Not that I was, but you know what I mean (LOL). The dress was a little too short for me, so I wore my Bali leggings underneath. My hubby was happy about that. I chose my trusty Nine West heels to wear out that night. And I accessorized with a beautiful ring from Avenue and my Lane Bryant bracelets.
This dress got me so many compliments! I love the ruffle hem and the crocheted neck. Two distinct design features that you wouldn’t normally think go together. And the crochet goes all the way around, while the ruffle hem is just in the front. The dress does have a tie in the back so you can adjust it and a black slip underneath the dress, so it’s not see through. I did get a size bigger than what I normally wear, bit it didn’t make too much of a difference, I just adjusted the tie in the back and I was set. Love it!
