My Closet: Buxom Boutique Dress

Today, I attended a luncheon at the gorgeous Biltmore Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles. I always feel so classy when I enter that place. That’s why I decided to wear this amazing Asymmetrical Black Dress courtesy of Julia from Buxom Boutique. I paired it with my Madden Girl pumps, black tights, gold hoop earrings, and a gold statement ring.

The asymmetrical neck gives this “little black dress” an edge, but with a 1950′s sillouette. The knee length hem is breath of fresh air in today’s world of mini’s. I wear a size 16/18 in dresses and this dress is a 3X. I really think someone in a size 22 could wear this because of the stretch in the material. It actually matched a blazer I had in my closet, you know just in case I had to cover up at the luncheon.

What I love about this dress is how easy it can go from business to casual. You could wear it to work, then change a few pieces around for an event or night out. I changed my earrings, added a belt, and my silver jeweled sandals. I know I am going to get a lot of use out of this dress. Thanks Julia!

**Disclaimer: I was NOT paid for this post. Although, the dress was gifted, the above is my true and honest opinion.
