Lounging into Spring with Linen

We are officially one week into the spring season. Even though it doesn’t seem like it in some parts of the country. The weather has been crazy! It’s supposed to be in the 70′s this week here in L.A.

One of my favorite things about spring is being able to layer. Because the weather is still mild and with today’s unpredictable weather, you have to be ready. It’s always changing.

That’s why during this time of the year, you start seeing a lot of linen peices. A linen blazer is great to use over a tank top or a spring dress, because it’s a lighter material than the wool or heavy cotton pieces we were wearing. Not to mention it’s pretty comfy. This Lane Bryant Asymmetric linen jacket ($59.95) is so cute!

Last year, I found a great linen blazer while out thrifting. Yay me! They’re so easy to find at your local thrift store, if you don’t feel like spending a lot. If you want yours brand spanking new-I found you a few below.

Will any linen pieces make into your spring outfits?

I have to admit, I'm not usually drawn to linen – but I think updating the look with a moto silhouette is perfect.

i have the old navy linen jacket you posted in army green… love it. it's very light, so it's not for keeping warm at all, but nice none the less! the only downside is there's no pockets in it! i love me some pockets, haha :) love the last jacket posted too!
