It’s not every day when you fall in love with an article of clothing. I will admit I’m in love with my Sejour leggings. I know you might be thinking this sounds silly, but unless you own a pair you wouldn’t understand.
Many pairs of leggings have come into my life and they’ve been OK. Sometimes they’ll fade after one wash or a new hole will appear out of no where. You know how frustrating that can be.
Sometimes, you just need a decent pair to get through a season. Thank goodness Nordstrom sent me this pair to try out. It’s like they were reading my fashion mind.

When Winter hits I know one thing is for sure, my hands will get dry and my skin will itch…it’s inevitable. I know I live in Southern California, but that doesn’t mean a thing. I load up on lotion like there’s no tomorrow. Dry is dry.
One of my pet peeves is dry cuticles, especially when the skin around the nail starts peeling! You can’t even imagine how happy I was when
Product claim: Eucerin Plus Smoothing Essentials with its gentle alpha hydroxy formula helps exfoliate and smooth skin, dramatically improving the condition of your skin over time. While it doesn’t compromise on long-lasting moisturization, it feels luxurious without a greasy feeling. Eucerin Plus Intensive Repair Hand Creme is a fast-absorbing moisturizer that leaves hands feeling noticeably smoother after just one use.
What I found out: After using the product for 2 months, I have noticed an overall difference in my skin and my hands. I used to have this dry patch on my elbow that is now gone and my cuticles haven’t given me any problems this winter. I am not a fan of overly scented lotions, so these two products were perfect being that they were fragrance free. And I honestly didn’t think having a product that “absorbs quickly” would make a difference, but I really like that I don’t have that greasy feeling after putting on lotion.
Would I buy it again? Definitely! Yes, especially if I had a coupon or it was on sale. Sorry Eucerin, but the bargainista in me wants it at a deal!

Floral prints for spring are a no brainer. I love a flowy skirt, billowy blouse, or flirty dress with this print. I know most of the country is STILL covered in snow, but let’s just close our eyes for a second. Imagine yourself taking a walk in the park wearing one of the skirts below with a tank top and sandals.
Most curvy gals can’t shop at the affordable mall favorite Charlotte Russe. They don’t make clothes for us. In fact, every time I walk in there I always head right over to the accessories. Here are a few necklaces, handbags, and shoes that would make my spring shopping list in an instant! And everything featured in this post is $40 and under.
There’s always a sense of naughtiness when you go to Las Vegas. Maybe it’s the money, the bright lights, the trendy clubs, or the swanky hotels?
Yes, the swanky hotels are now bringing the naughtiness to you! As the first of my new feature “Curvy Girl Travels,” I’d love to introduce you to The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. Read more
I swore to myself that I would never wear combat boots again! I spent five years wearing them as I served in the United States Air Force. And when you wear them every single day, they lose any type of fashion appeal.
But, the more I see them around, the more I want a pair. In fact, I saw this pair of
Don’t you hate having to justify things you’ve purchased? I can’t help it that this pair of shoes (below) just had to be mine! They were literally saying my name as I walked past them. OK, maybe not, but once I picked them up I couldn’t put them down.

What you’re reading now is what I told my husband as I plead my case on why I had to buy these shoes. Don’t worry, it worked out in my favor. I brought out the whole “Do you know how much you spend on your video games?” That always works when I try and reverse the guilt.
There should be no need to justify such beautiful pink peep-toe sling back platform pumps from Guess. If I really want to dig deep down inside and get all therapist on you; I could say I probably feel this way due to guilt. Guilt from not being employed full time? Whatever it is, I don’t like doing it.
From now on, if I like something I buy. At a reasonable price of course and there’s no more excuses. That’s it. The end. Finito.
Although half of the United States is experiencing chilly winter weather, we do have spring trends to look forward to. The first of many trends is the color block design. It’s a very Mod style and reminds me of the 1960′s.
The night was filled with laughter and fun (wink wink) with a few gal pals. There were even a few interesting sightings. It was held in “The Living Room” inside the W, which was massive.
