Full Figured Fashion Week(end)™ Panel & Discussions

We came, we discussed, and we conquered! If there was ever a more productive and powerful day, it had to be yesterday at the Full Figured Fashion Week(end)™ Panel & Discussions. I unfortunately missed the first session “The Voluptuous Woman Company, Inc® presents “The PLUS Side of Business”, but I did make it to the “New and Aspiring Models Panel Discussion/Seminar” and “The State of the Curvy Community.” I learned a lot from the top people in the “curvy” business! Full Figured Fashion Week(end)™ Opening Reception & “Curves for a Cure”

Full Figured Fashion Week(end)™ officially started last night with a cocktail reception and “Curves for a Cure” fundraiser. It was an amazing night for an amazing cause! I am a strong supporter of Breast Cancer Awarness, since it has unfortunately touched my family. The event was hosted by the fabulous Gwen DeVoe, talented songstress Kelly Price, and 102.3’s Lon McQ. All proceeds went to the L.A. Komen for a Cure Foundation. This was also a chance for all the bloggers to meet up. It was great seeing all of these beautiful faces in one place. There was even a Sonsi…

I love you…but I can’t afford you.

There comes a time in our life, where we realize that our love for shoes will sometimes break our hearts. Like these amazingly beautiful Christian Louboutin’s. They are $1,375; more than what most of you pay for rent. That’s where the broken heart comes in. There’s no way I can afford these delicious luxurious suede delights. I guess it’s time to find a replica pair.

Bank Breaker V$. Bargain: Leopard Print Tote

As you can tell, my brain never stops thinking about fashion! I’ve been craving a leopard print tote…bad! You’d really be surprised at the amount of super ridiculously expensive leopard print designer bags there are out there. As I was researching, I found some in the thousands! This M Z Wallace ‘Grace’ Tote is $425 at Nordstrom; not too bad compared to some of the others, but it’s still a “Bank Breaker” for me!Now, take a look at the ‘SCHMUTZLER’ handbag from Aldo, which is on sale for $27.98! That’s a lot better for my budget! I think I’m ordering…

OOTD: Gray in L.A.

It was nothing but gray skies today in L.A., just the way I like it! Yes, I’m a cold weather lover living in the City of Angels. I had a business meeting today, so I decided to try out my new Torrid Jayden Faux-Leather boots, dark denim jeans, and my Sejour Faux Suede Jacket by Nordstrom. The beautiful Nik of xoxo NikStar took my pics for me. She’s a doll! I was a little frustrated by the cowl neck on this top! I bought it at Macy’s a long time ago and don’t get me started on my hair. LOL.…
