Full Figured Fashion Week(end)™ Panel & Discussions

We came, we discussed, and we conquered! If there was ever a more productive and powerful day, it had to be yesterday at the Full Figured Fashion Week(end)™ Panel & Discussions. I unfortunately missed the first session “The Voluptuous Woman Company, Inc® presents “The PLUS Side of Business”, but I did make it to the “New and Aspiring Models Panel Discussion/Seminar” and “The State of the Curvy Community.” I learned a lot from the top people in the “curvy” business! Here are a few photos from yesterday.

There’s still time to attend tonight’s finale and runway show! You can’t buy them online, but they are available at the door, but it’s CASH ONLY! Visit www.FFFWeek.com for details!

Full Figured Fashion Week(end)™ Opening Reception & “Curves for a Cure”

Full Figured Fashion Week(end)™ officially started last night with a cocktail reception and “Curves for a Cure” fundraiser. It was an amazing night for an amazing cause! I am a strong supporter of Breast Cancer Awarness, since it has unfortunately touched my family. The event was hosted by the fabulous Gwen DeVoe, talented songstress Kelly Price, and 102.3′s Lon McQ. All proceeds went to the L.A. Komen for a Cure Foundation.

This was also a chance for all the bloggers to meet up. It was great seeing all of these beautiful faces in one place. There was even a Sonsi Photo Booth we were all playing with. I will post those pics later! It was too much fun. I finally wore my City Chic top (gifted by City Chic) out with a pair of black skinny jeans and Jessica Simpson open toe platform pumps. I was bringing the bling last night! Don’t forget, you can still purchase tickets to Saturday’s Finale Event! Go Here!!

Stay tuned for pics and recap from today’s panel sessions. You can follow me on twitter @CurvesandChaos where I will be tweeting live!

Curvy Cocktails L.A.

Lots of hugs, laughter, and goodies filled the X Bar last night as L.A. Fatshion Bloggers and The Curvy Collective came together for Curvy Cocktails L.A. It was a meet-and-greet to start off Full Figured Fashion Week(end)™ here in Los Angeles. Here are a few photos of last night, including photos of the raffle winners and the beauty goodies we handed out. It was so great to meet all of the amazing women who make up part of our curvy community; whether you’re a blogger, model, stylist, entrepreneur, or a fatshion lover!

A big and special thank you to Torrid, Sonsi, Ardell, China Glaze, Kurvee, and Bali for sponsoring our goodies! You just made our night that much more special!

I love you…but I can’t afford you.

There comes a time in our life, where we realize that our love for shoes will sometimes break our hearts. Like these amazingly beautiful Christian Louboutin’s. They are $1,375; more than what most of you pay for rent. That’s where the broken heart comes in. There’s no way I can afford these delicious luxurious suede delights. I guess it’s time to find a replica pair.
