Kitten Heel Comeback

Are you a shoe lover who’s not loving the heel height of your favorite pair of shoes? (Raises Hand) If so, you’re definitely going to love this latest shoe trend, the classic kitten heel. It’s time to bring it down a notch.

The kitten heel was introduced in the 1950′s with a heel height of no more than 2 inches. Some, brands like these Anne Taylor pumps below are 2 1/2 inches high. I remember when I wouldn’t wear anything higher than 2 inches! I’ve dared to go to 3 inches, my feet miss the kitten heels. Looks like it’s time to go shoe shopping!

    so cute, love the leopard and black pair. I totally need a pair like that, just basic, low heel shoes. I can wear them with everything! As soon as my ankle heels, they will be mine! lol

    You know, I actually cannot walk in them!! For some reason, I keep thinking I am in flats, and then stomp around like I am in loafers and almost fall over. Every time. 3+" Heels, I can do, flats I an fine, but the kitten heels? Get me every time.

    So much easier on our backs and our feet. I don't think a heel needs to be 3or4" to be sexy. We'll be able to have a lot of fun with these. And actually walk at a good clip.
