OOTD: Torrid Review Part I
Last night was date night with the hubby. I had the pleasure of wearing a few things courtesy of Torrid. I wore this Ivory Asymmetrical Ruffle top ($28) and the Source of Wisdom Virtual Stretch Distressed Skinny Jean (on sale $42). This photo was taken after a delicious steak dinner, I should of thought about this before wearing a skinny jean. The ruffle top was extremely soft and comfy, but it was a little big on me. I usually wear a US size 18 and this was a Torrid size 2. I think the size 1 would have been perfect. I love the frills on the top, it added a very feminine touch to the outfit. If you’re looking for a vintage inspired skinny jean, then you should really check these out. The denim is a great wash and I love the vintage touches. I was worried about the size when I was putting them on, I didn’t think they were going to fit. But, once I zipped them up, they fit like a glove. The jeans are made of this Virtual Stretch fabric, so they were very comfy. There are faux front pockets and I wish the waist was a little higher. But I loved how they fit me and I felt like they gave my butt some shape.
I didn’t want to over-accessorize because of the ruffles on the top, so I wore earrings my bff gave me and Unlisted wedges. I’m curious if any of you have tried these jeans yet? How did you like them?
