Who is your favorite fashion designer and why?

I’ve always been in awe of the fabulous Coco Chanel. She was the first to say FUCK what men what women to wear! She went for designs that were comfortable and classic. She was against the norm and stood up for real women out there. It’s incredible that her designs can be worn to this day. I believe plus, real, curvy (what ever you want to call us) women are at the point in time were we are standing up and saying screw what the industry thinks we should be wearing…we’ll wear what we want!

What is the one fashion accessory/item you can’t live without?

Aghhh…don’t throw stones but I cannot live without my black leggings! I love that I can pair them with anything in my closet and feel comfortable and chic.

If you were allowed to create a beauty product, what would it be and what would you name it?

I would create a lipstick. I can see it being a bright shade of red with a hint of pink. I would call it “Beware: Curves Ahead!”

If you only had 10 minutes to pack for a fashion extravaganza in your favorite city, what would you bring and where would it be?

I would pack my fave leggings, over-sized tee, leather jacket, black pumps, mixed jewelry and head out to punk/rockabilly bar in L.A to dance the night away.

Do you live by a fashion philosophy or quote? What is it?

It’s not really a fashion quote but it can be applied to being yourself. “The creative is the place where no one else has ever been. You have to leave the city of your comfort and go into the wilderness of your intuition. What you’ll discover will be wonderful. What you’ll discover is yourself.”
